If you would consider having a session on documentary editing and transcription, I’d be pleased to be considered as the presenter. I’ve published a considerable amount on the Shenandoah Valley, edit many of the publications of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society, and am a partner in Lot’s Wife Publishing, based in Staunton Virginia. Many thanks.
Dorothy,
This is good information to know and we do appreciate your interest and idea on a possible session. I’ll present this information at our next committee meeting. Right now we believe we have all our sessions secured but we always like to have sessions/presenters as backups. There have been times when a presenter has had to bow out and we have to start a new search and there’s always the next year symposium as well. We try to stay ahead as much as possible. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you again and meeting you. Our next committee meeting is scheduled for February 15. Keep checking back on our blog, especially after each meeting. Would you like me to add your email address to our list-serve for updates? We use these email addresses only for symposium information and do not share with anyone or any other organization.
